• 9 August 1980: Recording: Nobody Sees Me Like You Do, (Just Like) Starting Over, Don't Be Scared — John Lennon recorded tracks at the Hit Factory in New York City that would appear on the Double Fantasy album, released just weeks before his death.
• 9 August 1989: Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band live: Mann Music Center, Philadelphia — Ringo Starr brought his first All-Starr Band to the Mann Music Center in Philadelphia during their debut North American tour.
