About the Sixth All-Starr Band

The sixth All-Starr Band was one of the most musically varied lineups Starr had assembled. Jack Bruce — bassist and co-founder of Cream — brought 'Sunshine Of Your Love', 'Theme For An Imaginary Western', 'I Feel Free', and 'White Room' to the set. Eric Carmen, best known for 'All By Myself' and 'Hungry Eyes', provided a pop counterpoint. Dave Edmunds, a veteran of the British pub rock and rockabilly revival scenes, contributed 'I Hear You Knocking' and 'I Knew The Bride'. Simon Kirke, drummer with Free and Bad Company, performed 'Shooting Star' and 'All Right Now'.
