The Venue

The North Fork Theatre in Westbury, Jericho had a long history with Ringo Starr. Previously known as the Westbury Music Fair, Starr had performed there on:

  • 21 and 24 February 1999
  • 16 and 17 May 2000
  • 4 and 5 August 2003

He would return to the venue on 29 June 2008, 30 June 2010, and 11 June 2014 — making it one of the most frequently visited stops on his All-Starr Band touring circuit.

The Ninth All-Starr Band

  • Ringo Starr — vocals, drums, percussion
  • Billy Squier — vocals, guitar
  • Richard Marx — vocals, guitar, keyboards
  • Edgar Winter — vocals, keyboards, saxophone
  • Rod Argent (The Zombies) — vocals, organ, keyboards
  • Hamish Stuart (Average White Band) — vocals, bass guitar
  • Sheila E — vocals, drums, percussion

The 2006 lineup brought together an eclectic mix of rock, pop, and funk — from Rod Argent’s 1960s British Invasion roots with The Zombies to Sheila E’s Prince-era funk and Richard Marx’s 1980s soft rock. Hamish Stuart, who had also toured with Paul McCartney on the 1989–90 World Tour, provided the bass anchor.
