On Monday 5 July 2010, Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band performed at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA. Rick Derringer — born in Union City, Indiana on 5 August 1947 — first came to prominence as the guitarist and vocalist of The McCoys, whose 1965 single 'Hang On Sloopy' reached number one in the US. He later became a celebrated session guitarist and solo artist, best known for 'Rock And Roll, Hoochie Koo' (1973). Derringer produced and played on several albums by Edgar Winter and Johnny Winter, and was one of the most in-demand rock guitarists of the 1970s.

Wally Palmar — born in New York City on 14 February 1954 — was the vocalist and guitarist of The Romantics, the Detroit new wave group best known for 'Talking In Your Sleep' (1983) and 'What I Like About You' (1980), both of which featured in the All-Starr setlist.

Richard Page — born in Nashville, Tennessee on 16 May 1953 — was the vocalist and bassist of Mr. Mister, the Los Angeles pop rock group whose 1985 single 'Broken Wings' reached number one in the US. 'Kyrie', also a US number one in 1986, was the other Mr. Mister song in the setlist.

Edgar Winter and Gary Wright were returning members from the 2008 All-Starr Band. Winter had played saxophone on John Lennon's 'Whatever Gets You Thru The Night' (1974), Lennon's only US number one solo single. Wright had a long personal and professional relationship with George Harrison, playing keyboards on several of his solo albums. Wright died on 4 September 2023.

Gregg Bissonette was also a returning member from 2008, one of the most respected session drummers in rock.
