The Landmark Theatre, Syracuse
The Landmark Theatre on South Salina Street in Syracuse is one of the finest surviving examples of atmospheric theatre architecture in the United States. Opened in 1928 as Loew's State Theatre, it was designed by Thomas W. Lamb in an Indo-Persian style, with a seating capacity of approximately 2,900. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977.
