Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band performed at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in Greensboro, North Carolina on 18 June 2025. It was the fifth show of the 16th All-Starr Band's 2025 tour.

The Greensboro show carried a particular resonance in the context of Ringo Starr's touring history. In 2016, Starr had cancelled a scheduled concert at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in nearby Cary, North Carolina, in protest over the state's HB2 anti-LGBT law. The 2025 Greensboro date represented a return to North Carolina under very different circumstances — HB2 had been partially repealed in 2017.

Steve Lukather returned for another All-Starr tour, having been a fixture of the band since 2012. Colin Hay was the vocalist and guitarist of Men at Work, the Australian band whose hits included Down Under, Overkill, and Who Can It Be Now? — all of which appeared in the setlist. Hamish Stuart was the vocalist, guitarist, and bassist of the Average White Band, whose funk and soul hits included Pick Up The Pieces, Cut The Cake, and Work To Do. Warren Ham was a veteran of multiple All-Starr tours. Buck Johnson was a keyboardist and vocalist. Gregg Bissonette returned on second drums, now also credited with trumpet.

The 2025 setlist introduced several new elements compared to previous All-Starr tours. 'Octopus's Garden' — the Ringo Starr-penned Beatles track — made a welcome appearance, as did 'Look Up'. The three Colin Hay songs (Down Under, Overkill, Who Can It Be Now?) and three Hamish Stuart songs (Pick Up The Pieces, Cut The Cake, Work To Do) gave the show a strong flavour of 1970s and 1980s pop and funk.

The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts

The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2021 in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina. It is a 3,000-seat venue designed for Broadway touring productions, concerts, and other live events, and is one of the newer major performing arts facilities in the American South.
