On 10 June 2022, Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band performed at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey — the tenth show of the fifteenth All-Starr Band’s 2022 North American tour. It was also the final show before the tour was interrupted: later that same day, Steve Lukather tested positive for Covid-19, and Ringo Starr announced the postponement of the remaining 12 dates. Starr had previously performed at the venue — then known as the Count Basie Theatre — on 20 June 2014.

The Count Basie Center for the Arts
The Count Basie Center for the Arts on Monmouth Street in Red Bank, New Jersey, is one of the premier performing arts venues on the Jersey Shore. Originally opened in 1926 as a silent film theatre, it was renamed in honour of jazz pianist and bandleader Count Basie — who was born in Red Bank in 1904 — and has been a major concert and theatre venue for decades. The main theatre seats approximately 1,600. Ringo Starr had previously performed there on 20 June 2014, when the venue was still known as the Count Basie Theatre.
The Last Show Before the Postponement
The 10 June Red Bank show was the tenth of a planned 22-show run that had originally been scheduled for 2020 before being delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The tour had been proceeding well: three sold-out nights at the Beacon Theater in New York City (6–8 June) had preceded the Red Bank date. On 7 June, Starr had informed the Beacon Theater audience that Edgar Winter had tested positive for Covid, but the tour continued. On 10 June — the day of the Red Bank show — Steve Lukather also tested positive, and Starr announced the postponement of the remaining 12 dates later that day. The Red Bank concert was therefore the last show of the initial leg, and the last time this lineup performed together before the September resumption.
