Todd Rundgren is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer of extraordinary range and influence. Best known as a solo artist for 'Hello It's Me' (1973), 'I Saw the Light' (1972), and 'Bang the Drum All Day' (1983), he is also celebrated as the founder of Utopia and as a producer of landmark albums including the New York Dolls' debut, Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell, and XTC's Skylarking.
