Key Band Members

Gary Wright (1943–2023) was an American musician best known for his 1975 hit 'Dream Weaver' and for 'Love Is Alive' (1976). He had a long personal connection to The Beatles: he was a close friend of George Harrison and played keyboards on Harrison's All Things Must Pass (1970) and Living in the Material World (1973). Wright died on 4 September 2023.

Rick Derringer is an American guitarist and singer best known for 'Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo' (1973) and for his work with the McCoys, whose 1965 hit 'Hang On Sloopy' is echoed in his All-Starr showcase 'My Girl Sloopy'. He has also worked extensively as a producer and session musician.

Wally Palmar is the guitarist and vocalist of The Romantics, best known for 'Talking in Your Sleep' (1983) and 'What I Like About You' (1980) — both of which featured in his 2011 All-Starr Band showcase.

Richard Page is the bassist and co-founder of Mr. Mister, best known for 'Kyrie' (1985) and 'Broken Wings' (1985) — both number one hits in the United States. Both songs featured in his 2011 All-Starr Band showcase.

Edgar Winter returned to the All-Starr Band for the 2011 tour, having previously appeared in 2000 and 2006, performing his signature songs 'Free Ride' and 'Frankenstein'.
