It seems almost unthinkable that Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr — the two surviving Beatles — had never properly duetted on a non-Beatles song before now. 'Home To Us' changes that. The pair sing alternating lines throughout the track, their voices weaving together in a way that feels both intimate and historic.

McCartney introduced the song at a private showcase at Abbey Road Studios on 5 May 2026 — a misty-eyed return to the studio where The Beatles recorded so many of their greatest songs. Ringo, who now lives in Los Angeles, was absent from the event, but his presence on the record was keenly felt. McCartney described the song as an ode to both Starr and their shared hometown of Liverpool.

Produced and directed by Trunk, 'Home To Us' has been described as sounding like "Springsteen meets Sgt. Pepper" — a wistful, working-class anthem that draws on the shared memories of two boys who grew up in the same city, in the same era, and went on to change the world together.

Released on 29 May 2026 via MPL/Capitol Records, The Boys of Dungeon Lane is Paul McCartney's most personal album in years. Named after a street in Liverpool where McCartney used to go birdwatching as a boy, the record draws deeply on his childhood, his friendships, and his memories of a city that shaped him.
