11 April 1962 – The Beatles Fly to Hamburg for the Star-Club Residency

On Wednesday 11 April 1962, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Pete Best flew from Manchester to Hamburg ahead of The Beatles’ first Star-Club residency. They were met at the airport by Astrid Kirchherr, whose fiancé Stuart Sutcliffe had died the previous day.

11 April 1963 – John Lennon Meets His Son Julian for the First Time

11 April 1963 – The Beatles Live at Co-operative Hall, Middleton

On the evening of 11 April 1963, The Beatles performed their only known concert in Middleton, Lancashire, at the Co-operative Hall on Long Street — playing to around 300 fans on the very day From Me To You was released.
