On 1 May 1964, The Beatles recorded the third edition of their BBC radio programme From Us To You at the BBC Paris Studio in London. The session took place between 6:30pm and 9:30pm.
The From Us To You series formed part of The Beatles’ ongoing relationship with BBC radio during the height of Beatlemania, offering fans exclusive performances and informal studio moments.

Notably, Honey Don’t featured a lead vocal by John Lennon, in contrast to the later EMI studio version recorded in 1964, which was sung by Ringo Starr.
Additional performances
The group also recorded two versions of Whit Monday To You, a spontaneous composition performed to the melody of Happy Birthday To You, showcasing their informal humour and rapport during BBC sessions.

The programme was first broadcast on 18 May 1964 at 10am. Its theme music was carried over from the 28 February 1964 edition of the show.
One recording from the session, I Forgot To Remember To Forget, was later officially released on the 1994 compilation Live At The BBC.
