On 29 July 2003, Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band performed at Radio City Music Hall in New York City — the fifth show of the eighth All-Starr Band tour. The North American tour ran for 35 dates between July and September 2003.

Ringo had previously performed at Radio City Music Hall on 19 and 20 June 1992, and 13 July 1995. He returned there on 20 July 2006, 24 June 2008, 7 July 2010, 13 September 2018, 25 September 2024, and 13 June 2025.

Colin Hay of Men at Work performed ‘Down Under’, ‘Overkill’, ‘Waiting For My Real Life To Begin’, ‘Here Comes The Sun’, and ‘Who Can It Be Now?’. Paul Carrack of Squeeze and Mike + The Mechanics delivered ‘How Long’, ‘Love Will Keep Us Alive’, ‘Tempted’, and ‘The Living Years’. John Waite performed ‘Isn’t It Time’, ‘New York City Girl’, ‘When I See You Smile’, and ‘Missing You’. Sheila E returned from the 2001 tour with ‘A Love Bizarre’ and ‘The Glamorous Life’.
