Paul McCartney performed at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, USA, on 21 April 2002. It was the 11th date of the Driving World Tour, which ran for 58 dates across four countries between April and November 2002, and was seen by 14,248 fans.

McCartney was joined by his touring band consisting of Paul 'Wix' Wickens (keyboards, vocals, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).

The Nassau Coliseum had strong historical ties to McCartney's live career: Wings performed there on 21 May 1976 during the Wings Over The World Tour, and he later returned for two shows on 26–27 September 2017 during the One On One Tour.
