Paul McCartney Back Catalogue Reissued by Concord Music Group

Wednesday 21 April 2010 | Release, Paul McCartney

It was announced on 21 April 2010 that Paul McCartney's entire solo and Wings back catalogue would be reissued globally by Concord Music Group. The campaign marked a major new distribution agreement covering both physical and digital releases.

The reissue programme launched in celebration of the 40th anniversary of McCartney's debut solo album (1970), and included his full solo output, Wings albums, and experimental projects released under aliases such as The Fireman, Twin Freaks, and Percy 'Thrills' Thrillington.

The first confirmed release in the series was Band On The Run, presented as a remastered multi-disc edition with bonus material and expanded packaging. The agreement also marked the end of McCartney's long-standing commercial relationship with EMI Group.
