Rod Argent was the keyboardist and songwriter of the Zombies, known for 'She's Not There' (1964) and 'Time of the Season' (1968), and later led his own band Argent, known for 'Hold Your Head Up' (1972). Hamish Stuart was the bassist and vocalist of the Average White Band, known for 'Pick Up the Pieces' (1974) — he had previously played with Paul McCartney on the 1989–1993 world tours and is a recurring member of the All-Starr Band. Sheila E was a percussionist, drummer, and vocalist known for 'The Glamorous Life' (1984) and 'A Love Bizarre' (1985), and had been a close collaborator of Prince.
