The Beatles Live: Top Ten Club, Hamburg

Monday 17 April 1961 | Live

The club was owned by Peter Eckhorn, who paid each member of The Beatles 35 Deutsche Marks (£3) per day. Their demanding schedule required them to perform from 7pm until 2am on weekdays, and from 8pm until 4am on weekends, with a 15-minute break every hour.
