Ringo Starr's seventh solo album Bad Boy was released in the UK on 21 April 1978, arriving two months ahead of its US release.
The album was recorded mainly in Canada and the Bahamas during November 1977 and produced by Vini Poncia, continuing his collaboration with Ringo following Ringo the 4th.
Despite its production pedigree, the album performed poorly commercially and contributed to Starr being dropped by Polydor in the UK.
