The Beatles and Wings at the Circus-Krone-Bau
The Circus-Krone-Bau has a special place in Beatles history. The Beatles performed there on 24 June 1966, during their final German tour — one of the last concert tours of their career. Wings also played the venue on 18 July 1972, during the Wings Over Europe Tour. Ringo’s 2011 performance continued a long association between the venue and the former Beatles.

The Circus-Krone-Bau, Munich
The Circus-Krone-Bau is one of Munich’s most historic and beloved entertainment venues. Built in 1919 as a permanent home for the Circus Krone, it has a capacity of around 3,000 for concerts and has hosted an extraordinary range of performers over more than a century. It is one of the few permanent circus buildings still in operation in Europe, and its distinctive architecture makes it one of the most recognisable venues in Germany.
