On Thursday 29 May 1997, Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band performed at the IC Light Amphitheatre in Pittsburgh — the 23rd show of the fourth All-Starr Band’s 30-date US tour, which ran from April to June 1997. Ringo had previously performed at the IC Light Amphitheatre on 1 August 1995.

Gary Brooker was the pianist and vocalist of Procol Harum, whose A Whiter Shade Of Pale (1967) remains one of the best-selling singles in history. Simon Kirke had been the drummer of Free and Bad Company.
