On Saturday 28 May 2022, Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band performed at Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario — the second show of the 15th All-Starr Band’s 2022 North American tour and the second of two consecutive nights at the venue. The tour ran for 30 dates between May and October 2022. Ringo had previously performed at Casino Rama on 26 July 2001, 24 and 25 July 2003, 14 and 15 June 2006, 20 June 2008, 25 June 2010, and 6 June 2014 — making it one of the most frequently visited venues of his touring career.

Steve Lukather was the guitarist and co-founder of Toto, one of the most successful American rock bands of the 1980s. Edgar Winter was a multi-instrumentalist rock legend whose Frankenstein was one of the great instrumental rock tracks of the 1970s. Hamish Stuart had been a key member of the Average White Band. Gregg Bissonette was a veteran session drummer and longtime All-Starr Band member.
