7th March 1990: Paul McCartney Performs at Tokyo Dome During His World Tour
On 7th March 1990, Paul McCartney performed at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, as part of his massive 1989ā1990 World Tour.
The concert was the 73rd show of the tour and the third of six consecutive nights at the Tokyo Dome, highlighting the huge demand for McCartney's return to Japan.
The tour itself ran for 102 concerts across 14 countries, from September 1989 through July 1990.
