Where Did The Beatles Record Their Music? The Complete Guide to Beatles Recording Studios

The majority of The Beatles' recordings were made at EMI Studios in London, which was later renamed Abbey Road Studios after the famous street where it is located.

Between 1962 and 1970, the studio became the creative centre of the band's recording work and the birthplace of many of the most influential albums in popular music.

Located in St John's Wood, London, Abbey Road Studios was operated by the EMI record company and served as the Beatles' primary recording facility throughout their career.

The Beatles occasionally recorded at Trident Studios in Soho, particularly during the late 1960s.

The studio was attractive because it offered eight-track recording technology before Abbey Road adopted the same equipment.

Apple Studios

In 1968 the Beatles established their own recording facility at Apple Studios, located in the basement of their headquarters at 3 Savile Row in London.
